NHS WINTER CAMPAIGN
The Client:
During my final year at university I got the oppertunity to present a campaign to NHS corporate; Staying Warm this winter & check your medicine cabinet campaigns.

NHS - Industry trends are clearly demonstrating a 'digital first' approach for engaging with patients.
​
The Challenge:
The winter months can be a challenge for the NHS. In recent years there has been an increasing emphasis on people taking responsibility for staying healthy and managing their own health.
​
Creative, engaging solutions are needed for a comprehensive library for digital platforms, ensuring the health service can target patients successfully with as small
a budget as possible.

Campaigns Covered:
Keep warm this winter:
Targeted at the elderly as they are most likely to suffer from heart attacks, strokes, pneumonia and depression during this season.
​
Check your medicine cabinet:
Aimed at educating the public on common medicine that can be stored in preparation for winter. The aim is to encourage the public to seek advice from local pharmacists to reduce strain on GP's.

The Viability:
Assuming unnecessary avoidable waiting times at both the GP's & at Hospital's taken up by symptoms around the common cold is continues to be a problem. Some quotes for blankets are as low as £1.49 for super soft blankets, when every 15 minuets of waiting time costs the NHS £20.
